This trend was too fun. I am so guilty of my millennial marketing verbiage 🙈
Let’s be real: your child doesn’t hate learning. They hate how most people teach it. 🛑👇🏼
We’ve been conditioned to think that if a 4-year-old can sit quietly, complete a workbook page, and memorize flashcards, they’re getting ahead.
But as a teacher, I see the truth every single year: those kids often “crash” by 1st or 2nd grade.
Why?
Because they memorized the performance of learning, but they didn’t understand the logic underneath. They have a shaky foundation built on boring repetition.
If you want your kid to have a real, lifelong advantage, you have to throw out the worksheets. 90% of brain development happens before age 5 and brains at this age learn through understanding, not memorization.
That’s why I built The STEAM Made Simple™ Preschool Curriculum.
It’s a complete, 36-week, open-and-go roadmap that swaps the homework battles for absolute breakthroughs. In just 20 minutes a day, using things you already have in your house, your child builds the actual foundations of reading and math while developing critical life skills like resilience, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.
While other kids are crying over tracing pages, your kid will be building real-world thinking skills using topics they actually obsess over (like space and dinosaurs).
Stop checking boxes and start building thinkers.

Let’s talk about “masking.” It’s something we all do. It’s that invisible armor we put on to fit in, stay quiet, or hold it together when we’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or completely out of our depth.
As adults, we mask at work or in uncomfortable social situations.
But when kids have to mask for the majority of their lives, they will explode. 💥
They can only suppress their true feelings, sensory overloads, and anxieties for so long before the pressure builds up and a meltdown happens.
They aren’t trying to be difficult, they are just completely out of emotional bandwidth.
No one is born with emotional intelligence. Literally no one.
Did you know? Research shows that emotional intelligence (EQ) is responsible for 58% of job performance and is the #1 predictor of lifelong success and financial stability beating out IQ and academic scores.
Yeah it shocked me too.
EQ is a learned skill. If we want our kids to take off the mask and safely navigate the world, we have to build their toolkit. As the adults in the room, it’s our job to expose them to as many emotional regulation strategies and techniques as possible.
Comment “PODCAST” to listen to this SHORT episode where I share some of my favorite strategies. Let’s give them the tools to regulate, not just simulate. 🛠️❤️
