I’m in! ✨ Discover tens of local artists at the gallery Salem on the Edge - my art will be there too, and I’m so grateful and excited about this opportunity to step into the open!
The exhibition goes December 6th-22nd, and opens for the Salem Art Walk on Dec 6th, 5pm-8pm.

Photo shoot for the 3 paintings I made this past week, specifically for and their “100x100” call for art… Fingers crossed that they will speak to the jury’s heart and eye! 🤞 but at any rate, I’m grateful for the opportunity, this was fun to paint!

I opened an Etsy page! So you can buy my art if you like it ☺️ Only a dozen of small paint pieces for now - I decided to do things step by step. I’ll sell these first 12 for $17. Why $17? Because that’s what I was paid when I left my job last year, and I figured that symbolically it’s a good place to start. But stay posted for more!

I entered a challenge on spoonflower.com! You can vote for my design to support me 🤗 (link below) The theme was: Party Wall - a wall paper that inspires dance and festive mood! And I had fun designing this one outside my comfort zone 😁

The real thing! 🤩🕷️ I got a little emotional earlier when I received my yard of fabric printed with my own design… Well, when you create an account on Spoonflower.com they require an order to verify your address. Not quite in your neighbourhood store yet 😅 but it feels special! So I give you a little « making-of » today, from the first sketch in the dentist’s waiting room to the real fabric in my hand!

I signed up on Spoonflower, the print-on-demand website!… a step that officially puts my patterns « out there »! 🤗 (link in bio ☝️)
