A quick trip from the Bay Area to Coronado less than a 2 hour flight, and you’re somewhere that feels completely different.

Coronado ended up being one of those trips that just makes sense.

I stayed at , which ended up being the perfect home base. It’s right on the water, a little more tucked away, and makes it easy to go back and forth between the resort and town.

Here’s what my weekend looked like:

– Morning bike ride along the Silver Strand (one of the best ways to see the island)

– Spa afternoon at the hotel

– Dinner on Orange Ave at

– Sunset at Hotel del Coronado

– Kayaking the bay the next morning

– Lunch at before heading out

It’s one of those places where you don’t need to overplan, everything is close, easy, and just works.

If you’ve been craving a reset… this is your sign to book the trip. And if you needed an excuse, they’re hosting their Art & Wine Festival next weekend… which makes it even more worth the trip.

I love this role so much…
even on the days that stretch me, test me, and leave me feeling like I didn’t get it quite right.

Motherhood isn’t always soft moments…
sometimes it’s tantrums, overstimulation, and trying to hold it all together.

But then there are moments like this.
The laughter, the way they reach for me, the feeling of being their person…

and it reminds me this is everything.

Being your mom is the greatest, most humbling, most beautiful role I’ll ever have 🤍

Outfits I packed for my trip to Coronado Island… all from 🤍

The kind of dresses you can throw on and instantly feel put together, easy, effortless, but still elevated.
From slow mornings by the water and daytime exploring… to dinner plans and sunset walks, these pieces just work.

Lightweight, flattering, and simple to style (which is exactly what I need when I’m packing).

And the shoes pull everything together.

I love that Kohl’s has so many options, it makes getting dressed feel simple and fun!

If you’ve been wanting an easy wardrobe refresh without overthinking it, I linked everything for you!

AD I booked a weekend in Coronado… and it ended up being exactly what I needed.

From the quick flight from SF to San Diego to checking into , everything about this trip felt easy in the best way.

Staying right on the water gave it that quiet, tucked away feel… while still being just minutes from everything, bike rides along the Silver Strand, slow afternoons at the spa, meals on Orange Ave (loved ), and sunset at Hotel del Coronado.

It’s the kind of place you don’t need to overplan. You just arrive, explore, and let it all come together.

Such an easy getaway from the Bay Area, and one I’d come back to again.

Thank you for having me 🤍

Save this for your next California escape… you’ll want this one.

The kind of weekend where nothing is rushed…
and the moments in between become the most memorable.

Simple, intentional, and exactly what we needed.

Save for your next San Francisco stay ✨

if you’re looking for something fun to do in San Francisco, I found the perfect little city stay!

We checked into Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco and it just made everything feel so easy.

The room, the views, being able to walk everywhere…

It’s one of those places where you can explore the city during the day…
and then come back and actually relax.

10/10 would do this again.

There’s something about wine country…
the way everything slows down just enough for you to actually enjoy it.

Over time, I’ve found a few stays I keep coming back to, each one offering something a little different.

Some are right in the heart of it all, where you can walk to coffee, wine, and dinner.
Others feel tucked away… quiet, slower, almost like stepping into a different world.

From spa days inside a cave (still not over that),
to cozy, charming mornings that feel like the French countryside…

These are the places that made me pause, breathe, and fully settle in.

The ones I’d book again & again 🤍

Which one would you choose first?
