Last week, we had gotten calls of kitten sightings from 4 different people at 4 different spots but all in the same general area. We followed up and set up equipment at each spot. It was hard to know if some people were seeing the same kitten. We were elated to get Frosty and the next morning we caught Olaf
about 1/2 mile away. Although he is bigger, he may be Frosty's sibling. Olaf too has some frostbite and was very hungry!
It's so heart warming to see Olaf and Frosty all cozy and warm and enjoying their food! 😻😻
A big thank you to everyone who has reached out with sightings! ❤

It has been quite the challenge with it being so cold and with all the snow but our volunteers have been out in the weather doing all they can to help kitties in need! Frosty is one of the kittens we were so happy to be able to get in the last few days!

A very kind person, Mario, spotted Frosty shivering and meowing on the side of the road. Mario stopped and quickly reached out for help. Frosty then started traveling up the road and going in and out of the brush. Mario stayed and followed him until we arrived. When we got there Mario knew right where he was which was a huge help! Poor Frosty was hunched in the snow and would meow but he wouldn't let us get close. We decided to quickly cut into the brush and put a trap down. Frosty came to the trap but sat hunched on the top for quite awhile. We waited nearby and we were so relieved when he finally went in!

Frosty is so fortunate, we're not sure he would've made it much longer out there. He has some frostbite on his ears, is a bit raspy and is thin. Thankfully he is eating like a champ and has good energy. And he loves getting attention! 😻 He sends a big thank you to his guardian angel Mario and to the volunteers that came to his rescue!❤

We've continued to follow up where Mistletoe was caught and we are happy to report that we've gotten two more kittens Slim and holiday! 😺😺

We were so happy to see Holiday show up yesterday and we got right out there with a trap! We were elated when a couple hours later we had her! We are continuing to follow up as it's so important to get the mom and dad cat spay/neutered as well as any others in need!

And a big thank you to Madeline and Douglas Callahan for generously matching donations raised up to a total of $5000 and to all our supporters that helped us to reach that goal! 😻 ❤

Little Jingle is one of our recent rescues.😺 He was wandering looking for food and trying to survive in the cold. Each time there was a sighting go right out and set up where he was seen. We've had multiple setups going for quite awhile! We were so thrilled when we were able to get him! And not only is Jinlge adorable but he is so sweet!😻❤
Thank you to everyone that helped in his rescue! ❤

Last week a kind person took the time to reach when he saw some kittens eating a rabbit that was in the road. Since then, we've been doing all we can to try and locate and help them. In the early morning hours we were so happy to see little Miss Mistletoe show on the camera. She was hungry and thankfully by this afternoon we were able to get her!
At first she was very nervous, but after combing out her mats and showing her lots of love she started to purr and then fell fast asleep all warm and cozy on her fleece bed.😻 What a wonderful life change she has now had❣️

Last night when we checked a camera at one of the spots that we have been following up at for months, we saw that this little kitten Charlie Brown had shown. It was dusk and we quickly got traps set. By 11:30 we were elated to see that we had already gotten him! The poor little guy was quite skinny and covered in ticks.
We are so happy that Charlie Brown is now safe and is going to get all the care he needs. He even gave us some thank you purrs while we were carefully removing his ticks and giving him lots of TLC❣️😻

During the recent search for the missing dog Jerry (and yes he was found!) Sam's heat-seeking drone spotted kittens in the thick brush. Beth Morris was doing all she could to help find Jerry, and now she also wanted to try and get help for these kitties! And even though Sam was up all night running the drone, he was happy to help! It was just so wonderful of both of them❣️ Sam and Beth relayed marked maps of sightings to Cattrap and we then went out and set up food and cameras in hopes of locating them.

For weeks now we have been following up. Finally, on Friday, we saw that a mom cat and 2 kittens had shown and the poor things were very hungry and chowing down the food. It was a hard place to get equipment setup, but we did it and by 4 a.m. yesterday morning we had them all!

These kittens and their mom are so lucky for all the kind and compassionate people that helped in their rescue and they send along big thank you❣️😻❤
