Some rando on this app told me I take too many selfies and my mirror is my best friend.
This one’s for you 😘.

It’s now been two month since my surgery. According to the scale my weight loss has slowed down a lot, but that’s ok - I can feel how well I’m doing in other ways!
Highest weight - 244
Surgery weight - 233
Current weight - 190
Total weight lost - 54 pounds.
I’ve reached my goal weight of 200 so wherever is goes from here it’s all good.

My absolute favorite part of making a sweater is separating the sleeves from the body. That is when it starts looking like a sweater.
This is the sweater from , knit in color antler, purchased from .

I pulled these shorts on today, and a few weeks ago I couldn’t even pull them all the way up, and now they’re perfect!
My weight loss according to the scale has slowed down considerably in the last few weeks (I honestly think it’s because I’m still eating far too few calories) but I’m trying to focus on the non scale victories more anyways.

Staying with the determination to continue to challenge my knitting skills, my current project is the designed by .
It’s a great pattern and it’s been a real learning experience. I’ve never cared for doing cables before but at the point I’m enjoying them.
A couple things I now know to do differently - read a pattern more carefully. I’m so used to making stuffed animals and hats that I need to briefly skim a pattern to understand how to make them. Skimming this pattern resulted in several mistakes - reversing the direction of the cables (which makes one of the cables in the pattern totally different) and continuing the raglan cable too long.
There are a few cables where I spaced and forgot to shape where they should be as well, but overall I really like it.

I’ve never been very comfortable with color work, which is why I specifically chose to make these. I have decided that I am going to start doing projects that challenge me.
I started holding the yarn a different way about halfway through the first mitt, and it’s interesting that you can see the dominant yarn switched.
The pattern is by and I used palette. I honestly would not recommend that yarn for a project like this, it got quite felted.

A while back, I got tired of my weight yo-yoing constantly. I knew it wasn’t healthy for my mind or body. So after much thought, one month ago today I had weight-loss surgery. I it has been a roller coaster, and I don’t expect it to get any less crazy anytime soon. But mentally and physically, I feel amazing.
My heaviest weight: 244
My weight at surgery: 233
Current weight: 200.4
Goal weight: honestly, just to get below 200, because I didn’t want to go into the whole thing expecting too much.

Well I went with a red braid. I’m really annoyed by those stretched stitches in the middle of the face but she’s still cute!

It’s been a very long time since I’ve made a doll that wasn’t an animal. She’s almost done! What color should her hair be?
and were used for her.
