Sports & Therapeutic Recreation for Children & Families with Special Needs Program was formed.
Our history began in 2003 when the program was founded by Renee Gamberoni and Max Goode. Seeing a great need in our community for recreation and sports for children with special needs, the Nantucket S.T.A.R. Now, alongside their peers, children on Nantucket with special needs have access to sports, after-school activities and play-groups.
