Sunny the golden retriever and Daisy the white lab loved spending their days together. They were best friends who did everything as a pair—playing fetch, running in the yard, and, most importantly, taking naps. But recently, they had a new friend join their little family: Whiskers the tabby cat.

At first, Sunny and Daisy weren’t sure if Whiskers would fit in. Cats and dogs weren’t supposed to be friends, right? But Whiskers quickly proved them wrong. She followed them around, playfully pouncing on their tails and curling up between them whenever they rested.

One afternoon, after a long morning of fun, the three friends climbed onto the big, comfy bed. The sunlight streamed through the window, warming their fur as they snuggled together. Sunny and Daisy rested their heads close, while Whiskers tucked herself in between them, her little paws resting on Daisy’s soft fur.

As they dozed off, Whiskers thought about how lucky she was to have found such loving friends. “We may be different,” she thought, “but we’re the perfect family.”

The photo of them cuddling together was later posted online. The caption read, "No one has the time to like my picture," but little did they know—it was about to make hearts melt all over the internet.
