The renowned & celebrated square body . The K5’s been here before for a full interior. Now she’s back for bodywork, paint, new body bushings, new weatherstripping, and to rebuild the inner door and tailgate components. The C10’s in for everything.

The OG panels are always better than the aftermarket. Better metal and fitment compared to the massed produced Chinese parts hands down. Next week we’ll replace the front suspension, and add the front disc brake conversion kit, before it heads back to the owner for some motor work. Then back to DTC for bodywork and paint. .dylan is a bad dude great work son 🙌🏼

Another late one at DTC. We gave this OBS suburban a bedliner paint job a few years back and now we hammered out the brush guard, that’s welded on. We also the side steps and La Jefa recovered the headliner. I love these old suburbans.

2026 and everyone wants the image of success; the content the captions and the cute little pictures. What most don’t want is the discipline the sacrifice and the countless hours it takes to secure it. Saturday grind and a far from stock big block. #454

My oldest son’s a man of few words, and doesn’t seek or like attention. He’s not big on pictures, never talks about his accomplishments (which are many I’d like to add), and he’d rather do for others than for himself. When it comes to Dutch Touch Customs, he is the talent. He can do anything we offer except paint, but if I put a gun in his hand and gave him a little direction, he would master that too. Guaranteed. Today him and I went to Dayton Texas and picked up a transmission for his project, and stopped by LST to peep all of the beautiful builds. Next year his truck will be at LST, and it will be dope. To me, this is what it’s all about. God has blessed me with the opportunity to live out my dream, but the part that makes it extremely special is I get to do this with my family. Dylan could have done anything for a living, and been highly successful. He started college his junior year in high school, and quit college after high school because this is what he chose to do. He was going to be an engineer. I have an obligation, a responsibility to my son to keep this company going strongly, because I refuse to let him down. That’s why I go so hard. I love this man so much, and I hug him daily and tell him so. So here’s a picture I snuck in today, and the 69 C10 was his favorite. Dylan Solorio is a name you need to remember in this industry. He’s too humble to promote it himself, so I’ll do so until my dying day.

This car came to us in need of rust repair in the usual places. Easy enough, right? What makes this job so impressive, and truly showcases .dylan skills, is the fact that the patch panels we used were cut from a Cutlass in a wrecking yard in the 90’s. 🤯 The floor pan was in 3 pieces, the truck latch section was cut out of the wrecking yard car, the back panel in front of the truck was already cut out, and the replacement piece was hacked up as well. We wrapped up that portion a few weeks ago and that was supposed to be it. But they were so impressed with that, we’re now in charge of the full metal work, body and paint . This past week we removed the windshield to repair the frame, and .dylan knocked out that section like an OG. He makes me proud daily I couldn’t do it without him.

OBS seats the lovely and talented .bosslady worked her magic 🪄 on. So far she’s booked until May. We have a lot on our plates, but the was to eat. 🤤
