Always room for squares at the Vision Box 🙃
If you love Nacogdoches, you need this painting!! Support a local artist and help The Vision Box through the infamous summer slump that is now in full swing and impacts so many of our town's small businesses when college kids leave. Vibrantly colored, Texas-themed art is where my journey as a painter began, and I haven't done a piece like this in nearly a decade! An obsession with upcycling and repurposing old art (and other junk lol) drives most of what I create, and this painting is no different. The image is painted on pages from a 1950's Roy Rogers hardback I found in an old barn, and the canvas was an Olan Mills portrait. With the amazingly gaudy, vintage gold frame it measures over 2.5' tall and 2' wide. This art is the perfect addition to your home, office, salon, boutique, or just about any other space that needs a lot of color and love! Raffle entries are only $10 and can be purchased online or in person at The Vision Box selfie studio, 2106 North Street. Drawing and winner announced next Friday, June 30th.
