We highly encourage picking up your packet on Friday when possible. It will help make race morning even smoother!

Plenty of parking will be available!

Please park in the lot directly across from Tidal Creek Brewhouse for easy access to the race start, finish line, and post-race festivities.

Don’t rush home after crossing the finish line!

🌦️ **Santa Stroll Race Day Weather Update** 🌦️

As of **9:00 AM Friday**, the forecast is showing a **40–50% chance of scattered rain showers between 7:00–9:00 AM tomorrow.** We are **racing rain or shine!** 🏃🇺🇸

⚡ **Lightning Safety:** If lightning becomes a factor, we'll follow the City's safety protocol (similar to NCAA guidelines). We have a **start window from 8:00–9:00 AM**, and racing can begin once there has been **no lightning within 6 miles for 30 consecutive minutes.**

Your safety is our top priority, and we'll continue monitoring conditions closely. If anything changes, we'll post updates here.

SANTA STROLL 5K ROAD CLOSURES!

Expect road closures in the Market Common area from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., this Saturday, July 25, for the Santa Stroll 5K. The race course is an out-and-back route beginning and ending on Knoles Street. Runners will turn around at the north end of the course near the Myrtle Beach VA Clinic and return in the same lanes. All roadways are expected to be fully reopened by approximately 9:30 a.m.

Here are the road closures:

• Knoles Street – start/finish area
• Johnson Avenue – northbound lane
• Carlson Street – westbound lane
• Shine Avenue – southbound lane
• Huger Street - closed between Howard and Shine
• Howard Avenue – northbound lane (Howard Avenue northbound will be closed at Phillis Boulevard)

Please allow yourself extra time to get around the area during this event! Good luck to all participants.
