Broadway at the Beach has some exciting new merchants joining Myrtle Beach's beloved shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Co. is slated to open this spring with a beer garden, distillery, tasting rooms and event spaces. Myrtle Beach is gaining national recognition thanks to Emmy Award-winning TV host Darley Newman, a Myrtle Beach native who is best known for her PBS series Travels with Darley. Among her recent efforts to highlight her hometown, Darley partnered with Visit Myrtle Beach to promote the Grand Strand to over 30 TV and radio stations across the U.S. She spoke about her love for the beach, the enhanced offerings and Visit Myrtle Beach's new "Make More Myrtle Moments" vacation lodging deal. Get ready for more fun coming to Myrtle Beach!🎢 Family Kingdom Amusement park just held a press conference officially announcing the addition of a new high-thrill Raptor Coaster as well as four other new rides. This investment reflects Family Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the guest experience and honoring its legacy as Myrtle Beach’s only seaside amusement park, founded 60 years ago. Construction is underway on the Raptor Coaster with an opening expected later this summer.

Business advocates are praising a South Carolina Supreme Court decision upholding a previous ruling allowing Dominion Energy South Carolina to proceed with the River Neck-to-Grand Strand Natural Gas Main, also known as the Pamplico Pipeline. Both the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation strongly supported the project, emphasizing its importance for regional economic development.
