Happy 10th birthday to Adalynn!
Her Mama ordered a luau/Hawaiian themed cake, cake pops, and chocolate dipped pretzels.
FUN FACT: She gave me full rein to use my creativity. Girly and colorful, yet simple and not overly decorated.

One of my favorite little boys celebrated his 7th birthday with a Nerf inspired party.
~Vanilla cake with *orange and blue* layers, rice krispe treats, and theme cookies.

My customer and her family were at the beach celebrating a birthday and visiting Myrtle Beach Shark Tooth Adventure for a bit of hunting fun.
So, of course, they requested a shark's tooth themed cake!
~Chocolate and vanilla marble cake topped with vanilla buttercream. Teeth and decorations made with fondant. 🦈

"One" precious little girl celebrated with a sugar free vanilla cake topped with sugar free vanilla icing.

The recipe for this chocolate pound cake was given to me about 35 years ago by a very special lady.
It's hand written by her and stays tucked away in my Mama's old recipe box .
I love using recipes out of that old box. The taste of nostalgia is the very best.

Hello Kitty! Who doesn't love Hello Kitty?
When my oldest daughter was 14 months old, she loved going into the Hello Kitty store. She loved the big girl cups with a straw. When she was ready to give up here bottle, she traded here bottle for a big girl cup. We left her bottle at the store and happily left with her big girl cup.
Of course, she cried for her bottle later that night but I gently reminded her that she traded it for her big girl cup . That night she said she was a big girl and never looked back. I still have that Little Hello Kitty cup! Embrace the memories that we have been given.

Who loves Carrot cake?
This was one happy girl with her carrot cake. After all, she's been asking for carrot cake for a year or two.

Congratulations to Steve and Linda!
The two of them chose an all white vanilla cake with an elegant beachy theme.
With 250 family and friends they complemented their wedding cake with cake squares. Perfect.

Peanut Butter Cup cake and I didn't hold back on the peanut butter and chocolate.
Iced and filled with my grandmother's peanut butter icing recipe.
Then loaded with crushed milk chocolate and white peanut butter cups between the layers and on top.
