At the Bench With Briley

Briley, what a gorgeous picture of your living room! Oh how we loved gathering there on weekends and holidays! This room will never be the same. Our lives will never be the same. We spoke many times about how we would deal with losing each other to death, but we had no idea the depth of hurt that would encompass us. It’s been a year today this very hour. God has blessed each of us, but the hurt seems to have been overwhelming! You were the best of the best daddy, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend. We love you deeply and miss you tremendously. We’ve celebrated you together as a family these past days. We will always celebrate you and your life daily.
Thank you for those who have sent messages to us today. We appreciate your prayers of comfort so very much.

Hi Bench family, this is Madison Altman, Briley's daughter. I have an update about this page that I need to share. I will keep this post as brief as possible, but please read through the entire post before asking questions.

Facebook is enacting a new policy that all Live videos will be deleted after thirty days of the original posting, starting July 3rd, 2025. This means that all the videos on this page, At the Bench With Briley, will be deleted on July 3rd. Our family has spent time downloading each video so that we still have access to watch them and post them down the road. We will also work to upload each of them to YouTube so there is another platform where his videos can live on (this will happen later this year).

Facebook alerted us that the only way around this is to "memorialize" the Facebook; however, because this is a Facebook "page" and not a "profile," we are not able to memorialize this page. If anyone has suggestions around this, please feel free to message the page or message me directly.

I know this is heartbreaking to hear, and trust me when I say, we are absolutely devastated as well. Granny, Queen Elizabeth, watches these videos daily and loves reading each of your comments.

We are keeping this page very much alive and will begin to post old videos in the coming weeks. We will need you to comment and interact so that Daddy can continue to spread the Gospel wide and far.

Please be kind with your comments and know that we have absolutely no control over this situation. My dad was the "fixer" in our family and beyond. There wasn't a situation he couldn't mend for me, and I miss him terribly, especially in these types of situations. Continue to pray for our family. Continue to purvey grace.
