Practice is Monday, April 8th at 6:30pm
Location: Doug Shaw Stadium
All athletes must have registered and paid all fees before participating in any practice sessions.

The second-of-three youth Track and Field Development Clinics is next Saturday, October 14. Athletes ages 6-18 are welcome to join the Myrtle Beach Sports Tourism staff to learn about and practice triple jump, long jump, high jump and pole vault. The program meets at 9:00 a.m. at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. The pole vault portion is limited to ages 13-18. The cost is $10 per clinic.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Participants will be grouped by age and/or experience level. Groups will rotate through each of the event specific areas where they will be instructed by an experienced high school, college or club coach. The program will focus on the sport, the skills required and the opportunity to practice the skills and receive feedback. The session will begin with a group warm-up and stretch and conclude with a talk and cool-down. Each Saturday session will conclude between 12:00-12:30pm.
