Last week, me and the wonderful climbed to the Wisdom Tree, located just above Hollywood Reservoir, and were struck by the stunning panoramic views. A few days later, we got to write with the queen, in Topanga Canyon and captured this golden moment into a special new song called ‘The Great Unfolding’. Last Thursday, we performed it together on my 24th Birthday at the wonderful ‘s Hollywood hills house show. A whole bunch of unforgettable moments that I am grateful to have experienced, there’s a snippet of me and Julia performing it on the last slide. Excited for this one to be recorded soon ! At the start of the year, I decided I would leave full time work and quench my thirst for adventure after being invited to the retreat in Muscle Shoals, Alabama to explore and visit new friends out in the states. I was feeling so unsure about whether to make the leap at first as I was living a comfortable life and the thought of giving my house and job up took some thought but decided I wanted to be brave and it was time to do something unexpected.

I have two out of three months on an ESTA left and switching everything up has been the best decision I’ve ever made ! For those wondering how the journey is going - I’m having a blast 💥

I started out in Nashville, then went to the incredible Muscle Shoals and met and reconnected with songwriters from all over. Having an open itinerary has been so freeing and been affirming to dive into the unknown ! Came back to Nashville for a beautiful time, then headed to Memphis, caught a ride with Lina, Boo and Isi to New Orleans, where they played an amazing show and shortly after, headed out to LA where I’ll be based for the next month writing and seeing more lovely people and meeting many more folks. I’m feeling held in the arms of the universe and excited for cracking into so more writing and recording, wanting to capture this feeling and just wanted to share how exciting it is to live wildly and sometimes you just have to make bold decisions as you’ve only got one life and you’re the only one who’s going to live it ! ♥️

So grateful to be a part of this quirky family of talented musicians and creatives, thank you GKF team for such a magical time at Muscle Shoals !
