When the Muscle Shoals Area Street Rods Club was founded in 1971 there were only 20 cars to show. No Thus the club was formed to showcase their talents.
The Muscle Shoals Area Street Rods was originally formed in the July of 1971 by a group of young hot rodders who all drove pre 1948 automobiles. The Club was formed to promote the fellowship & enjoyment of street rod owners. Many of the original members enjoyed racing at local drag strips and then showing their cars at local venues.
