So as I’m laying here in PT with tens units on and laying on ice - it’s the BEST part ! I’d thought I’d update everyone.

I’m officially out of my 2 week post op surgery stage ! My incision has completely closed up , all medical tape/bandages are gone ! I’m done to the tiniest light colored bruise on my back. Trust at times Aaron Ellis was terrified to just help me up and down . He’s been my hero these past few weeks ! I haven’t praised him enough !

I have 4 weeks of 3x a week PT. I feel like I’m back working out with Alicia Heatherly! They have not taken it easy on me ! I secretly am loving the challenge! My brain believes I’m ready, my body has proven I’m not fully ready! So the next 4 weeks will be so crucial in rebuilding my stability muscles to help me have a healthier, BETTER quality of life ! I’ve needed this reboot for longer than I’ll admit .

After next weeks PT , I will see if I can start doing 1 color , every other day. 3 people a week. That’s it til after the full 4 weeks . Then I still won’t go back to my 12 hr days . I’m pretty sure those are forever gone folks. However , I’m not going to be in full fledged daily chronic pain ! So I will be fully focused on my job- which is to make each and every client feeling better than from when they walked in ! I love you all ! I have been taken care of with so much love and care from so many ! I appreciate you all so much ! You will never know the small rests you’ve allowed Aaron by not having to worry about cooking and feeding me !! It definitely has taken a village! I love my crazy little circus of a village ! 💜

We wanted to drop in and let everyone know this month the salon is going to be running as APPOINTMENT ONLY. Due to travel and a new baby we will not be able to do any same day appointments.

** just so we are clear and I can quit getting odd messages from random folks. No - I , Susan Ellis did NOT have another kiddo 😂😂. Sam Norris and wife welcomed a healthy beautiful baby boy into this world and are at home resting . That is all . 😂**

Short back story…. Everyone knows Susan loves her pigs and you can find them all over the shop. Last week we let a tiny client play with the duplicate one we have and poor Mr. Pig took a spill and busted his head. Lol. Well OG client Roxanne Phillips-Tays reached out to Reuzel and tried to find us another one. This rockstar woman told them the story and they sent us the one replacement they had in the US!! Then she bought us a replacement as well and his name is Jelly Roll. So thank you Reuzel and Roxi for going above and beyond to always support us!
