If you've never spent time in a semi, it's hard to truly understand what truck drivers face every single day.
The struggle is real folks!!

I've watched him navigate impatient drivers cutting him off, people lingering in his blind spots, and vehicles squeezing in front of his 80,000 pound truck that simply CANNOT stop on a dime. I've seen the long hours, witnessed him missing out on family moments, the pressure to deliver his loads safely, and the constant focus it takes to keep everyone on the road safe.

The next time you see a semi, remember there's a person behind that wheel doing a job that keeps our country moving. They're hauling the groceries on our shelves, the medicine in our hospitals, the materials that build our homes, and countless other things we depend on every day.

Please be patient. Give them extra space. Don't cut them off. Let them merge when they need to. A few extra seconds for you can make all the difference for them and for everyone else sharing the road.

To all the truck drivers out there, THANK YOU for the sacrifices you make and the work you do that so many of us take for granted.
