October 24th is Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Day! Help me celebrate by texting your red district State Representative to support HR3133, the Acupuncture for Our Seniors Act. This Act is a proposed correction to Medicare legislation covering acupuncture for chronic low back pain. This correction would allow Licensed Acupuncturists to furnish services and bill for acupuncture for seniors with chronic low back pain.

If you are local, please join me to raise a little money for the Iowa Acu Association this Monday. It’s Acupuncture Medicine Day, so I will be doing an ear seed clinic for free will donations to IAOMA ✨

In celebration of Acupuncture Medicine Day on October 24th, I am offering donation based ear seeds from 11-1pm at 1214 Cedar St (lower level). I will put seeds on as many people as I can during that time. Please feel free to swing by and help raise money for the Iowa Acupuncture Association (IAOMA).

It’s finally hereeee! Spooky season is upon us and I could not be more excited. Black cats, bats and jack-o-lanterns are some of my favorite things!

Here’s a little Eastern diet knowledge drop for the season— pumpkins tonify Qi, circulate blood, clear dampness and resolve phlegm. They are energetically warm, sweet and bland. They enter the Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach and Spleen channels.
