Sorted Home Organizing

Another job done last week!

They wanted a functional kitchen organization that everyone, including the kids, could maintain!

There was also a side area of the kitchen that they used for office and storage that was really fun to play around with and find an organization that made sense for them!

This definitely isn’t the most aesthetic project, but it was so necessary!

We live in a split level and that means we have very little storage space. We’ve always made an effort to not keep things we don’t need, but the things we do need just ended up in this area all mixed together.

My goal for this area was the ability to walk in and be able to access all the bins AND be able to see what was in each bin. I did this by taking everything out, getting rid of some things I no longer needed, sorting into categories, and dedicating each category to a clear bin with a label.

I also chose to get two clear drawer units for the front of this area to easily access the things I needed most often from this area like gift bags, tissue paper, and holiday supplies.

Completing this project has been a huge help when bringing new things into the house (I know exactly where they should go) and being able to access things in storage that we need!

This was my most recent project! I had the opportunity to organize two bathrooms for a friend of mine!

One of my favorite parts of organizing homes and rooms is all the categorizing 😍 I love taking items that are are all mixed together and giving them a category and then giving that category a home! It makes a tremendous difference in not only finding things, but also being able to put new things away since you know exactly where they would fit best!

This project was fun because there were so many different categories to play around with and arrange!

Did you guys know your pantry doesn’t have to look Instagram worthy for it to be organized? 😜

This was my first pantry job and I love the way it turned out! Everything has a home now and it’s so easy to see what you have at all times!

This was a project I did with a friend a few months back!

Her goal was to get rid of quite a bit of stuff that she no longer needed and create a workout space that was clear of clutter! She was a champ at getting rid of things and the final product leaves plenty of room for her to store the things she wants and needs!

This was a fun project that I had the opportunity to do last summer 🧺

This homeowner had a laundry room that had become a catch all room for paperwork, extra household supplies, office supplies, cleaning supplies, and almost anything else that didn’t have a home!

The goal was to organize this room for three main purposes: paperwork, laundry, and surplus storage.
Since the completion of the project, the homeowner loves that everything has a home and is no longer overwhelmed when using the space!
