TICKETS: $40 (tax+fees included)
available from our website: https://hotelwolfeisland.com/events/bill-kirchen/

Grammy-nominated guitarist, singer and songwriter Bill Kirchen is one of the fortunate few who can step on any stage, play those trademark licks which drove the seminal Commander Cody classic “Hot Rod Lincoln” into the Top Ten nationwide, and elicit instant recognition. He celebrates a musical tradition that embraces rock ‘n’ roll, blues and bluegrass, Texas western swing and California honky-tonk.

He has recorded with Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Dan Hicks, Maria Muldaur, Hoyt Axton, Hazel Dickens, Gene Vincent and Link Wray, and has toured the world as guitarist with Cody, Nick Lowe, Hoyt Axton and Emmylou Harris. Nick Lowe describes Bill as “… a devastating culmination of the elegant and funky… a really sensational musician, with enormous depth.”

Washington Post: “Seldom has traveling across the rock and country landscape been this much fun”

Guitar Player magazine: “The Titan of the Telecaster…cuts loose with some of the fattest, gnarliest low-down twang imaginable”

Rolling Stone: “A musical treasure, a fantastic player, and, in these roots-conscious times, very much a pioneer, Bill Kirchen is one of our best.”

From Stacey Stone & Sterling Martin:
Most of you know that our brother Scott Stone passed on Thursday after a battle with cancer. He touched a lot of lives and in many different ways. I’ve been humbled by the amount of kind comments and remembrances shared here and to us personally. Scott loved life and all that it had to offer. A devoted husband and father of 3 boys and he was always there for you or to lend a hand. I credit Scott for helping me get started in the fire service and he was a 50+ year volunteer firefighter himself and well loved by all that he helped along the way. He also got me into the world of hot rods and antique fire trucks and he had many of each over the years. It’s going to take a long time to come to terms with this loss, but I will survive. I just need to be as strong as my big brother was…
