Your tan fades faster when your skin is dry. A spray tan sits on the top layer of your skin, so when that layer sheds, your tan goes with it. Keeping your skin hydrated slows that process down and keeps your glow even.

Oils and moisturizer should be applied after the first soap shower, which is 24hrs after tan. Moisturize morning and night. Pat dry after showers instead of rubbing. Your tan will last 7-10 days instead of looking patchy by day four.

If you’re seeing hair a few days after your first wax, nothing went wrong. That’s just how hair growth works.
Hair grows in three phases: anagen (active growth), catagen (transition), and telogen (resting). Not all your hair is in the same phase at the same time, which means not all of it can be removed in one session.

What you’re seeing a few days later isn’t regrowth. It’s new hair that was still under the skin during your appointment, now coming up.

This is completely normal, especially after your first wax or sugaring appointment. Your hair has been on a shaving cycle, which means it’s all over the place in terms of growth phases.

Stay consistent with waxing or sugaring every 4-6 weeks, and your hair cycles start to sync up. That’s when you get smoother, longer-lasting results and fewer of those “already?” moments.

It gets better every time. You just have to stick with it.

Prep and aftercare. Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment so the solution goes on smooth skin, not dead skin that’s about to flake off. Skip lotions the day of so nothing blocks the tan from developing. Apply body oil 24hrs after your spray tan to lock everything in.

And then the real work: moisturize morning and night, and pat dry after showers instead of rubbing. Your tan fades when your skin dries out, so hydration is everything.
