🇺🇸 Honoring Those Who Serve Our Community 🇺🇸

This past week, Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge #2797 provided meals for local firefighters and nurses in remembrance of 9/11 and in recognition of those who serve our community.

Funding for this outreach was provided through the South Carolina Elks Association Charitable Trust, allowing us to give back to those who care for and protect our community.

A special thank-you to MTZ Kitchen & Catering for preparing the meals and to our House Committee for delivering the food and helping make this tribute possible.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

🎉 A Special Surprise for Fred Thompson! 🎉

Today, Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge #2797 had the honor of surprising our own Past Grand Esteemed Loyal Knight, Fred Thompson, with a special banner recognizing his incredible year of service as the only Grand Esteemed Loyal Knight from the State of South Carolina for 2025–2026.

Fred represented South Carolina and the Elks with tremendous pride, dedication, and commitment throughout his year of service. We are incredibly proud to call him one of our own!

A very special THANK YOU to our Past Exalted Rulers (PERs) for generously purchasing the banner and helping us celebrate Fred’s accomplishments. Your thoughtfulness made this surprise even more meaningful.

Congratulations, Fred, and thank you for representing Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge #2797 and the great state of South Carolina! 🦌❤️💙

🇺🇸 Supporting Our Veterans & Our Future Leaders! 🇺🇸

Tonight, the Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge #2797 Veterans Committee proudly donated $2,000 to the Loris High School JROTC Program.

The South Carolina Elks Veterans Committee generously matched that donation with an additional $2,000, bringing the total contribution to an incredible $4,000 for Loris High School JROTC! 🇺🇸👏

Major Gooding and Sgt. Bethea accepted the check on behalf of Loris High School.

We are proud to support our young people, honor our veterans, and invest in the future leaders of our community.
