📖 **Psalm 116:1-2 (NRSV)**

“I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.”

What a comfort to know that God listens. Every prayer, every cry, every whispered concern is heard by our loving Heavenly Father. We never pray into silence. God bends close to hear His children and walks with us through every season of life.

❤️ **Matthew 9:9-13 (NRSV)**

“As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth; and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him.” — Matthew 9:9

Jesus sees potential where others see flaws. He calls ordinary people into extraordinary lives of discipleship and extends grace to all who seek Him. No one is beyond the reach of God's love and mercy. Christ's invitation remains the same today: "Follow me."
