Carolina OB/GYN started in October of 1988 by Dr. Gayle Richmond in a small building located in Georgetown, SC beside Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Many things have changed in the past 25 years, but the passion for "Compassionate Care for Women by Women" is not one of them. Carolina OB/GYN now has two locations, one in Georgetown and another facility that opened in September of 2003 in Murrells Inlet.

Our Story
Carolina OB/GYN was founded in 1988 by Dr. Gayle Richmond. Today we have three conveniently located offices in Georgetown, Murrells Inlet, and Myrtle Beach staffed by experienced medical providers and certified nurse midwives.
We offer compassionate care for women of all ages including a variety of obstetric, gynecology and body rejuvenation services. We are dedicated to providing you with state-of-the-art medical care while making you feel right at home.
