The Featured Teacher for Week 1 of 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 @ 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗬’𝗦 is 𝘼𝙨𝙝𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙜𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙮! Ashley has been a teacher for 17 years and has spent 9 of those years right here as a teacher for Burgess Elementary School!

To help you get to know Ashley before STORY TIME on Tuesday (6/16), we asked her a couple of questions:

Q: What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?
A: The students - their excitement for learning and trying new things!

Q: What is one fun fact about you that many people may not know?
A: I have been dog sledding and snowmobiling in Alaska!

Q: What was your favorite book as a child?
A: “Madeline” and Jan Brett books like, “The Mitten”

Q: What is your favorite Ice Cream Flavor?
A: Drippy’s Homemade Ice Cream Banana Pudding!

Family Game Night at the Surfside Beach Fishing Pier!
Tonight!! Join us for Family Game Night at the Pier!
Every Wednesday, June 8 through July 29, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, gather the whole family, head to the Surfside Beach Fishing Pier for evenings packed with fun, music, and friendly competition. Each week features different theme nights to keep things exciting, plus a variety of classic games like Giant Jenga, Co****le, Connect 4, Ring Toss, Ladder Ball, and more.

A live DJ will set the vibe with upbeat music as you play, laugh, and make summer memories together. Thank you to EdVenture Myrtle Beach and DJ Louie for working with us to make this happen!

✨ A New Summer Series ✨

Some of our favorite childhood memories involve a good book, a kind teacher, great friends, or a delicious Ice Cream cone on a warm summer day.

This summer, we’re bringing them all together!!

📚 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 @ 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐲’𝐬 📚

Starting next Tuesday (6/16), we’ll welcome a different local teacher each week to read some of their favorite children’s books right here at Drippy’s - Marshwalk. Families can gather on the porch, enjoy a sweet treat, and spend time together while supporting the incredible educators who invest so much in our kids.

And here’s our favorite part...

🍦 During each Story Time event, 𝟏𝟎𝟎% of sales during the program will be donated directly to the featured teacher to help purchase classroom supplies, books, and resources for their students.

Because great teachers deserve great support.

So grab a blanket, bring your little readers, and join us for a summer filled with stories, smiles, ice cream, and community.

WEEK 1 of Future Sharks Camp is this week!! We love these camps because it is one of the best ways to help our kids develop in the sports they love while having fun AND it is an easy way to support the athletic programs of St. James High School🦈

If your child is interested in BASEBALL 🧢 or DANCE 🪩, there is no better way to spend this week!

And don’t forget - on Friday, right after camp is over, you can find 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗬’𝗦 𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗞 parked right outside the High School ready to serve campers and families. What an incredible way to celebrate an amazing week! And the best part?!? 𝟮𝟱% 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁.
