The season of sunshine and barbecues is officially here! ☀️

If you love to grill as much as we do, then you know it's time to get your grill refreshed and ready for some fun outdoor parties. Here's what we recommend:

✨ Turn on the grill & let it get hot.
✨ Put a cut lemon on a long handled fork and dip it in some salt.
✨ Rub the lemon across the grates of the grill. The lemon's acid will remove grease and the salt will act as a scrubbing agent.
✨ For especially dirty grills, you can scrub with a block of pumice and then be sure to rinse off any excess before using.

You should avoid using metal brushes when cleaning your grill because the bristles can break off and get into your food. The methods listed above are a much safer option!

Grass stains are very common during the warmer months as our little ones spend so much time playing outside.

Getting rid of those pesky green stains can be a challenge, but we're here to help! Here's what we recommend you try when removing grass stains:

⭐️ Treat the area with a pre-wash spray or a solution of 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water as soon as possible.
⭐️ Let the spray or solution soak on the area of 5 minutes.
⭐️ Machine was the stained clothing in an enzyme detergent and use the hottest water safe for the fabric.

The chorophyll found in grass & plants is what causes these stains to be so difficult to remove. However, if treated quickly, the stains can be beat! Let us know if you try this hack and how it worked for you down below! 👇

Remember that you can use the upholstery attachment of your vacuum to clean dust, dirt, & debris from the cushions of your outdoor seating!

If you're looking to take it a step further, you can mix 1 Tbsp of detergent and 1/4 cup Borax in a bucket of water and use this solution to scrub the cushions clean. Then hose them down and make sure to remove all the excess water and boom! You've got a fresh outdoor set up to host in this summer.

Here are our best tips to keep your outdoor space bug-free over the next few months:
☀️ Install patio fans - Mosquitos are no match for a nice breeze, so if you install some outdoor fans there's a good chance it will keep mosquitos away away while getting the benefits of a nice breeze.
☀️ Use snail & slug deterrent - Add 20 drops of Cedarwood oil to a spray bottle with water and spray your plants and outdoor areas. This is a natural snail, slug, & ant deterrent!
☀️ Debug porch lights - First remove lightbulbs, then using a toothbrush dipped in vinegar, scrub the crevices of your porch lights. Wipe down the vinegar before you replace lightbulbs!
