It might just look like a boy bouncing on a trampoline…

but there’s something powerful happening here 👇

This little boy with autism is jumping while turning to the left, with a vibration device strapped to his left arm and leg.

🧠 Why does this matter?
Because the left side of the body connects to the right side of the brain—and many kids with autism or ADHD have weaker connections here. The vibration helps “wake up” those pathways, while the movement and turning activate balance, coordination, and reflex integration.

✨ The combo of:
✔️ Jumping (stimulates balance & rhythm)
✔️ Turning (activates vestibular system)
✔️ Vibration (calms & connects the nervous system)

…helps his brain build new connections, leading to better focus, calmer behavior, stronger coordination, and improved learning.

Small exercises like this may look simple, but they’re a big deal for the brain.

This may look strange at first...

But what you’re seeing is called the Starfish Exercise, and it’s not just movement — it’s a brain-based technique designed to help kids who are struggling with:

➡️ ADHD
➡️ Autism
➡️ Anxiety
➡️ Emotional outbursts
➡️ Sensory overload
➡️ Focus and learning issues

🧠 The Starfish works by targeting the Moro Reflex — one of the earliest survival reflexes babies are born with. If this reflex doesn’t go away (or “integrate”) as a child grows, it can keep the nervous system in a constant state of “fight or flight.”

That means:

Overreactions to sound, light, or touch

Trouble calming down or sitting still

Random outbursts or tantrums

Sleep issues and trouble focusing

✅ The Starfish exercise mimics the startle response, then teaches the brain how to calm and reset.
✅ It helps regulate the nervous system, build better body awareness, and promote emotional stability.
✅ Just 2 minutes a day for a few weeks can make a BIG difference — especially when used consistently as part of a brain-based routine.

💡 Want to learn exactly how primitive reflexes affect your child’s brain and behavior — and what you can do at home to help?

Here’s WHY 👇🏼

It might look simple — but this is actually a powerful way to check for visual tracking issues, which are often linked to:
👀 Poor focus
📚 Reading difficulties
😵‍💫 Sensory overwhelm
🧠 ADHD-like behaviors

This exercise helps us see how well his eyes can follow a moving object without turning his head.
When this is hard for a child, it can be a big sign that retained Primitive Reflexes — especially the ATNR (Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex) — are still active and disrupting development.

These hidden reflexes can cause the brain and body to stay stuck in survival mode, making learning, emotional control, and attention SO much harder than it needs to be.

💡 But the good news? These reflexes can be integrated at home with simple, natural exercises!

If you want to learn how to test for these reflexes and help your child from home — without meds, therapy, or doctor appointments…

💬 Comment “ADHD” and we’ll send you our complete ADHD Guide Bundle that walks you through everything step-by-step.

When we do this, we’re not just checking his eyes…

👁️ We’re checking his brain and nervous system.

We’re watching to see how well his pupils dilate in response to the light — and if one side responds differently than the other, or too slow, that tells us something important:

⚠️ It often means there's a problem with the vestibular system — the part of the brain that controls balance, coordination, movement, and even focus.

Children with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, or Sensory issues almost always have underlying vestibular imbalances… and this simple light test can help us find them.

In many cases, this is due to primitive reflexes that didn’t go away like they were supposed to — and are now keeping the brain stuck in survival mode.

But the good news?
✨ There are simple, natural exercises you can do from home to start calming the nervous system, integrating those reflexes, and helping your child feel more regulated and in control.

If you want to learn how to do these tests and what to do next…

At first, it might just look like a silly exercise...
But what we’re really doing is testing deep brain and body connections that affect focus, attention, emotional control, and even learning skills.

👉🏼 Marching in place like this checks for signs of stuck Primitive Reflexes — especially ones linked to balance, coordination, and brain maturity.
If a child struggles to keep their wrists down, lift their knees, or stay balanced... it’s a clue their brain is still "stuck" in survival mode, making it harder for them to stay calm, focused, and organized.

🌱 When Primitive Reflexes don’t integrate properly, it can lead to ADHD, sensory issues, learning difficulties, emotional outbursts, and more.
The GOOD news? You can start helping right now — naturally and from home.

We put together a FREE guide that explains all of this and shows you a few simple exercises you can start today! 🙌🏼

This simple-looking test is actually incredibly powerful for identifying brain and body imbalances...

When a child closes their eyes, they can’t rely on visual cues anymore — so we’re testing their vestibular system, balance, core strength, and how well their brain is communicating with their body.

If they struggle to stay up or tip over quickly, it could be a sign that a Primitive Reflex is still active, like the TLR (Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex) — which can interfere with focus, coordination, learning, and emotional regulation. 😟

The good news? There’s hope.
You can start helping your child from HOME today with simple, natural brain-based exercises.

We made a FREE guide that walks you through what Primitive Reflexes are and how they relate to things like ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, Anxiety, and Sensory issues.
