This Saturday I’m playing a very special show put on by Rooted in Gold that is focused around BIPOC artists and musicians at the Onyx in Sandy UT. This event is so special because it invites us to remember and imagine together the past, present and future as we honor our cultural histories, express our stories, and imagine a life beyond colonization. A life focused on community, creativity and harmony with the earth.

My goal through my music has always been to reconnect with my ancestry. To let the stories of my ancestors speak, and that’s why I feel connected to and inspired by this event. Hope to see you there. In my 111 years of living I can safely say that 2025 has been both the greatest and most transformative year of my life as an individual and as a musician. As a band we went on our first tour, got the opportunity to work with artists from all over the U.S., released more music this year than since starting this music journey, and have gotten the chance to share our story with new cosmic folk that have joined in on our travels through the cosmos. Gratitude isn’t enough to express our appreciation for this last year and all the people we met, and experiences we can now keep forever in our memories.

As an individual I experienced the lowest lows and the highest highs as I’ve learned to heal, grow, let go, and fully dive into my passions while learning of the endless strength and peace that comes from self love.

Thank you. To everyone that has come and gone. To the memories I get to keep with me. To the people I get to call friends and loved ones that have been here through it all.

And to our fans… we have exciting news and a bigger visions for this year than the last. Cant wait to really take off on this journey through the cosmos together and to continue to grow and create.
