Murfreesboro RV Park

Norma here with my first weekly rain report! We received just a little over an inch and a half of rain last week. I may be a little off due to evaporation because I hang out here all week. Ned and I are hoping for some great weather this week. Remember to wear your sunscreen and drink lots of water!

Shout out to Scout Troop 23 out of Cabot, AR! They spent the weekend with us earning their Mining and Society badges. As their service project they helped the owner, Randy Lamb, install a flower bed around our brand new flagpole. We asked them to run the new flag up the pole for us and they did it with dignity and respect. Thank you Scouts! Come back soon!

Ned says we received 2 tenths of an inch of rain the past 24 hours. We'll have to see if anymore is coming our way. Our scout troop camping in our tent section probably hopes for no more rain til they leave.

Hi, Ned here! I've got the rainfall report for you. I've caught a little over and inch and a half of rain in the last 24 hours. Some of it came down hard so maybe it moved some gravel. My cousin Norma will be doing the weekly rainfall report so watch for her Sunday!

Ned the Gnome is happy to give his first rainfall report! He says we received almost an inch of rain. Ned is watching the forecast closely and is looking forward to providing future reports.

Diamond dreams!

We got such a great surprise today! Meet Ned, Norm's cousin! Thank you Cindy and Grant from Wisconsin for sending him our way! Now Ned and Norma can keep us informed about our rainfall amounts.

Norm the Gnome's second cousin (once removed) moved in today. Gnomes get their name from their new humans when they find a place where they want to settle down. I do believe we have a girl Gnome because she has pigtails and not a beard. Any name suggestions?

If you stay 2 nights with us at Murfreesboro RV Park you get free use of our diamond mining equipment. Our equipment is better quality and easier to use than the state park's equipment. If you rent equipment at the Crater, it can take up to 2 weeks to get your deposit credited back to your debit/credit card. If you pay with cash and lose your receipt, your deposit will not be refunded and you have lost that money. Paying to stay an extra night with us saves you money, gets you use of our superior equipment and we offer hands on diamond mining lessons at our on site sifting station.
