Stuff to do in Rockford, IL Saturday is looking PERFECT!
Join us June 20th at 5 p.m. for a Run/Walk/Skip (or crawl… we don’t judge!) starting The Olympic Tavern for our Spirits Run for ALS.

We’ll head along the beautiful Rock River Recreation Path, passing two of Rockford’s most iconic spots:

🪦 Greenwood Cemetery — one of the oldest and most historic cemeteries in Illinois
🗿 The RockMen — the legendary stone guardians watching over the riverfront

Choose your adventure:
🏃‍♀️ 5K or
🏃‍♂️ 6.6K — both scenic, both fun, both community‑powered.

Bring friends, bring family, bring good vibes.
Let’s move for ALS, celebrate Rockford, and enjoy a gorgeous evening together.

All paces welcome. All stories welcome. All for ALS.

Race is untimed and on sidewalks no roads will be closed.

All runners will receive a swag bag, drink after the run, woodie medal, and post run celebration!

6.6k on August 29th starting at Addams Memorial park to the original rte 66 sign and to the rte 66 end sign and back to the park for post run celebration - celebrating Enric running from Chicago to Santa Monica pier raising funds and awareness for ALS

This untimed fun run welcomes all paces — runners, walkers, families, and first‑timers. The route follows the Rock River corridor, offering river views, bridges, and Rockford’s historic north side. Start and finish at The Olympic Tavern, then stay for post‑run hospitality and good spirits.
