Happy Earth Day!
Tomorrow we will be potting and decorating plants in the main lobby to promote green initiatives in everyday life. There will also be the opportunity to design the Green Action Team's new community garden behind the Student Center. We hope to see you all there!

Starting tomorrow our "Sch-pring" Cleaning campaign takes off. In the front lobby, different bins will be placed for any nonperishable food items, unwanted (clean) clothes, and undesired appliances that people wish to donate. These donations will go to Muncie Mission after move-out. The floor with the most donations will have the choice of a cupcake or cookie decorating party. Donate, Donate, Donate!

Hey there!! My name is Leah Padgett and I am a sophomore advertising major. I am one half of our Residence Hall Association (RHA) Representative, Brady Rohrer being the other half, for Schmidt Wilson! I help bridge the communication gaps between other halls and buildings on campus to organize campus-wide events and funding for programs! I am on the activities committee which means I am part of the brainstorming team for events! I love painting, extremely amateur photography, and blogging... I also enjoy planning events and especially decorating for them! 😁
Fun fact: In my K-12 years I moved 8 different times attending 11 different schools for my dad's job, so I have lived all over the state of Indiana!

I'm currently majoring in Theatre Education and hope to one day teach theatre classes at the high school level. Some fun facts: I've spent most of my life growing up in Orlando FL with my alligator buddies (jk those things are dangerous, stay away!) and I would one day love to be good at fashion. That's all I guess. *peace sign*
