Forever Baskets

Kaylyn was a new weaver at Forever Baskets. She was excited about weaving her first 4-H basket for Wayne County. She paid attention to the details on her basket and wove an awesome basket! Good Luck Kaylyn!

Naomi wove her second basket at Forever Baskets for her 4-H project. She will enter her basket in the Wayne County 4-H fair. The curls she wove on her basket enhanced the color she chose. Naomi’s finished basket turned out Awesome! Good Luck Naomi!

June 1, 2015 I opened the doors for my small business, Forever Baskets, in Yorktown at the Ron Myers Barbershop Complex. Today Legacy Nail and Salon occupies that location. It has been 11 years now and we are still weaving baskets on Kilgore Avenue. I miss Steve’s support and help but I am Very grateful for all of your support and help to keep me going! Let’s keep weaving together at Forever Baskets!

Willow wanted to weave a round woven base basket. She chose to weave with purple, her favorite color. She will be entering her basket in the Henry County 4-H fair. Nice basket Willow! Good Luck!

Katrina wove her first basket at Forever Baskets. She enjoyed the weaving experience and gaining knowledge of how a basket is woven. Her basket looked great and Katrina wants to weave a larger basket next time.

This was Annalee’s first time to weave at Forever Baskets. The basket she wove was for her 4-H project that she will enter in the Wayne County 4-H fair in June. Very nice basket and design. Good Luck!

This family of 5 from Wayne County, completed their baskets for their 4-H project at Forever Baskets. This was their 2nd year to weave at my shop. Emma, Rylee, Madison, Jazmine, and Katie were excited about the basket that they chose to weave. Not much picture taking since they kept me busy. Great baskets!! Good Luck to all!!

What a tangled mess! After the 4-H class on Saturday, my #2 round reed was out of control. I am taking the reed home to untangle it while watching my favorite TV shows.

Grace wanted to weave a lamp basket for her 4-H project this year. She chose a very unique lampshade for her basket and with all the embellishments her basket turned out awesome! Grace will enter her basket in the Wayne County 4-H fair. Good Job! Good Luck Grace!
