Please have your kids 12+ vaccinated and encourage all other parents to do the same. My 14-year old already has his appointment. This will be a major positive for schools and other organizations as well as stop the spread of COVID-19 more generally. 😊

As of 8 a.m. Thursday, May 13, anyone age 12 or older is eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Anyone under the age of 18 is ONLY approved for the Pfizer vaccine.

Currently, IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is one of the only health facilities in Delaware County that offers the Pfizer vaccine. Some pharmacies may also have Pfizer available; please confirm with the pharmacy when booking.

To schedule a vaccine, visit OurShot.in.gov or call 211.

Naomi and I made a special stop for the Charmed Cupcake Co. grand opening DWNTWN today. We bought six cupcakes and two pieces of cheesecake. The cupcakes are smaller than typical gourmet cupcake places which makes the weight differential between cake and frosting difficult once they have been cut, but the flavor is pretty good (I especially liked the Reese’s cup one.)

Let me focus, however, on the “New York” cheesecake. This is a typical advertisement that very rarely is delivered upon. Being from the NYC area, I know and love actual good New York cheesecake. Let me say, this is definitely the closest thing in Muncie to the genuine article. It is very good and was wonderful to eat. I highly suggest you get a piece when you go in.

Support local businesses, y’all!
