In a few weeks, two rooms in Fort Wayne are going to be packed with people who chose to be there.

Bands flying in.
Cabs getting unloaded.
Volume bleeding through walls.
No dead space. No filler.

You can feel when something is about to matter.

Friends, it has come to my attention that there is a bar in Newcastle (Maddi's Sports Bar) owned by Eric Manning, where said owner is punishing a DV victim and a witness in their case. Isreal Chesher, aka Izzy, is awaiting trial for beating his ex so badly she was hospitalized. Mr. Manning has banned the victim and witness from his establishment, although neither have caused a problem of any kind there, who were only there to see her friend's band play, while supporting the abuser, who has protection orders against him. Out of respect for this victim, I will not be supporting this establishment as a venue, or these men in their businesses, and I want to make it clear to the local music community what kind of people run this establishment.
