Media Objectives

Last week all three VDT offices came together in Chicago to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We spent time honoring the past, celebrating the present, and looking towards the future. 

We kicked off the week with an in-depth presentation about the history of the firm, given by one of our founding Principal’s, Joe Valerio. Then we took a bus tour around Chicago, visiting VDT’s projects, followed by a company party at our newly finished project, Solverre.  

We are immensely thankful for everyone who has brought us to this monumental moment- those who have contributed to our success in the last three decades. To the people who have made this company a wonderful place to work, clients who have trusted us with their big dreams, and partners who have collaborated with us to turn ideas into reality- we are eternally grateful.

There is so much on the horizon for VDT. Here’s to the next 30 years!

The Emerald Hour logotype, like the gemstone of its namesake, is structured and refined. Its high contrast and off-kilter setting creates an unusual elegance while the brand’s color palette draws from their fresh and refined cocktails.

Installations are about to begin for Chapter at Madison student apartments! This hallway showcases the rich history of Madison, Wisconsin, in a captivating and engaging way. Stay tuned for more project updates coming soon!

The Maggie Daley Field House, made possible by generous donors, features a unique donor exhibition commissioned by the Chicago Park District. Using materials reflecting seasonal changes, the donor wall honors those supporting the local community and Millennium Park.

For an enterprise consistently pioneering in the design and production of digital tools, it was clear that workplace needed to reflect the creativity behind the brand and their innovative products. This San Francisco office features wall graphics inspired by Adobe’s software programs, such as enlarged color pickers from Photoshop, typographic elements from Illustrator, and pathways from Adobe XD.

Event branding! Another tool in the M-O toolbox.

We created a graphic language for Chicago Textile Week that spoke to the nature of textiles, while conveying information in a bold, yet minimal way. Graphic illustrations of real textiles form the basis of the visual language, their frayed edges flattened and filled with vibrant color and imagery.

Highlighting Ohio’s finest!

Glassdoor’s office features custom resumes created in honor of Ohio legends like Neil Armstrong, Steven Spielberg, LeBron James, and Glassdoor founder Robert Hohman, paying homage to their remarkable achievements.
