Fighting Rare and Underfunded Pediatric Cancer Mainly, we are powered by love. We host and present amazing fundraising events, infused with meaning and fun.
The Sunbeam Foundation was initially inspired by Sara LaBoskey, a Duke soccer player, dancer, and animal advocate who lost her life to Ewing's sarcoma at the age of 21. Since then, we have also been inspired by the lives of Jensen Barrett, Nick Salazar, and other young adults who have lost their lives to this disease. We're headed to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford tonight to host an Ice Cream Party for kids battling pediatric cancer. Featuring ice cream from The Ice Cream Bar and a performance from Brad Wolfe and the Moon. We are very excited--if it goes well, this could become a thing!
