Poor Chappy was found tied up in very bad condition. In spite of whatever he has been through, Chappy is the sweetest and just wants to be loved. He is good with other dogs and has a very gentle nature. He has a lot of energy now that he is healthy again and doesn't have any idea just how big he is...he is like a clumsy puppy! Now Hiring
The Stone County Humane Society is looking to hire a part-time employee to work 2 - 4 days/week. Each day consists of two shifts: 7:45am to 11am AND 2 to 5pm. The morning shift is all cleaning. Afternoons are more hands on with the animals.

This job is very fast paced and physically demanding. It involves a lot of bending, heavy lifting, scrubbing and cleaning. Please do not apply if you are not prepared for this type of work.

Duties include cleaning inside and outside kennels, scooping f***s from yards and cat boxes, cleaning the cat cottage, administering meds to both dogs and cats, walking dogs, and socializing cats. We follow strict protocols and will expect you to learn and follow them as well.

You must be 21 years old to apply, have a reliable vehicle, reliable child care, and live in or near the city of Mountain View.
