In the Ukrainian agricultural sector, there is a very clear shift from reacting to short-term challenges to seeking new models of competitiveness. The theme of this year’s Grain Ukraine Conference, “The New Grain Order,” reflects this change.

Anna Padun, Head of Sales at EOSDA, attended Grain Ukraine 2026, one of the key events for the Ukrainian agricultural market.

The conference showed that added value creation and adaptation to climate change are becoming as important for agribusinesses as yield and export volumes. This requires modern technologies, especially tools for precision agriculture.

At EOSDA, we provide our clients with these tools. We create AI-powered satellite intelligence solutions for the agricultural sector to help growers see the full picture of their fields, assess risks, make data-driven decisions, and protect their yields. Many of the challenges facing the Ukrainian agricultural sector are difficult to avoid, but we help growers prepare for them.

The sessions at Grain Ukraine 2026 showed that competitiveness in the agricultural sector today depends on the ability to adapt quickly to change and to see risks before they become losses.

A local industrial development authority in the UAE was struggling to stay up to date across its sites using periodic ground inspections.

We built a satellite monitoring workflow that gave them a continuous, plot-level view of active development areas. We track construction at scale while maintaining an up-to-date view of PAD areas.

We combined medium-resolution imagery for frequent updates with high-resolution imagery for detailed inspections t help our client ensure data accuracy.

Predict crop risks before they turn into financial losses with our Risk Monitoring platform.

In large-scale agribusiness, late reaction to risks means direct margin losses. Current threats such as pests, diseases, weather stress, or water stress often remain invisible at first. However, plant stress starts 3–5 days before the first visual symptoms appear in the field. By the time the problem is visible from the pickup, yield potential is already reduced.

We’re launching a Risk Monitoring platform to help you detect field risks early, before they become losses. Be among the first to try the platform.

🌾 Apply for early access to test automated risk alerts on your own fields. We’ll reach out to selected teams with:

◼️ pilot access to crop risk alerts
◼️ platform or API workflow options
◼️ an opportunity to shape the product before its wider release

Satellite data is no longer the future of AgTech solutions. It’s cutting-edge technology that large-scale farmers can’t do without today.

Regina Urazmanova, Product Manager for Crop Monitoring by EOSDA, spoke on stage at DOU Day, Ukraine’s leading tech conference, about the role of satellite data in agriculture.

Key highlights from Regina’s speech:

🔹 Despite the complexity of mathematical modeling, satellite technology is now one of the most cost-effective alternatives to traditional ground-based observation for growers.

🔹 AgTech platform features should be based on precise agricultural data, such as crop development stages and geographical characteristics.

🔹 No one can give you better insights for improving your product than growers. That’s why a big part of the Crop Monitoring team’s job is communicating with platform users.

🔹 During planting and harvesting seasons, growers work 24/7. All contacts, communications, and platform updates need to be adapted to their schedules, precise, and focused on solving operational tasks.

🔹 Analytical tools, such as the vegetation index NDVI, enable agribusinesses to identify hidden risks in their fields and make decisions based on precise data rather than assumptions.

The approach that combines data precision with growers’ real-world experience is the foundation of our Crop Monitoring platform.

Satellite data is no longer a niche capability — it's becoming part of how industries operate at scale. Our team attended the Geospatial World Forum 2026 in Amsterdam, where this shift was the main thread across every session and conversation.

Our delegation — including Taras Duda (Managing Director), Artem Berehovyi (CBDO), Viktor Lyustey (Strategic Partnerships Manager), Dmytro Svyrydenko (Senior Executive), and Anna Zakharchenko (Senior Executive) — spent the week collaborating with industry peers and gathering insights to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of the geospatial market.

The forum reinforced something we see in our own work: clients don't need more data. They need fewer steps between data and a clear answer. The organizations making progress are those building for the end user — not the data scientist.

The week also brought meaningful conversations with partners and the geospatial community, including Geosat, LAStools, DSM GeoData, Open Cosmos, GEOSA, and many others.

Thanks to Geospatial World for organizing such a strong edition of the forum.

We left Amsterdam with a clearer picture of where the market is going — and a stronger sense of purpose in building toward it.

🔗 Our team shared their key takeaways from the conference. Read them on our blog: https://eos.com/events/gwf-2026-moving-toward-decision-ready-intelligence/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=gwf&utm_content=post
