Baldi Barn

Baldi Barn girls were jet set in recent weeks attending camps and touring NCEA colleges! Abby Wittie headed to South Carolina and checked out College of Charleston and University of South Carolina. Pearl Baldi explored her options in Virginia, attending camp, interviewing, and touring University of Lynchburg, Hollins, and Sweet Briar College! Riding on a Varsity team in college takes lots of planning, grit, and dedication to be recruited or invited- these girls have what it takes and I'm very proud of them. Pearl and I even got to see our dearest Baldi Barnmate and forever friend, Lauria McShane in Virginia and she was the best ambassador for her alma mater, Sweet Briar College! Abby and Pearl made good connections and impressions and I'm excited to see their journeys, unfold!

Teamwork makes the dream work, as they say! Fun couple of weeks in the desert with Abby Wittie and her new steed, Come Fly With Me; they had an awesome first show together complete with poise, goals reached, and top ribbons, to boot! We were reunited with our very own Catching Stars and his lease family Week 2! Harper Morris rode to Champion in the Eq and Res. Champion in her Hunter division! What a pair! Pearl was my worker bee as usual and rode very accurately in the 1.20 jumpers and we immersed ourselves in the medal world this week. We watched 1000 rounds, fixed G's soft swap, slowed down, and learned what we need to work on. Thank you to Stephanie Haney for being kinder than necessary and helping Pearl out.

Merry Christmas from my stable for wild hearts! So fun horsing around with you all, all year long!! Cheers to more happiness, fun, and learning in 2023!

Congratulations Devon and Pearl on qualifying for Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Regionals! This was Devon's 1st weekend of showing IEA and she was victorious, as was P... Both of my sweet, helpful, hard-working riders also won Sportsmanship Awards!! I'm very proud of them! Thank you Shayne for coaching and hosting the show! GO Chestnut Hills IEA Team!

Congratulations Riders! Well done! We had a shared pony show and everyone was a star! Amazing riding girls and wonderful sportsmanship!! So fun!!

Barn update... So, Pony Champions, Hunters and Jumpers are finding their wings on the GSDHJA circuit! We have so much fun riding together, with friends from our own barn and across the valley...keep on keeping on, friends!!
