It's really hard to get a good picture of Kai but the whole point of this post is to tell you, she is down at the ReStore officially up for adoption!

Tuxedo lovers.... I got this family the day after they were born, but then I got too crowded, so Maeve’s House took them in. There are 3 tuxedo girls. This is the first one to get fixed.

Its been a tough couple days keeping kittens alive and well. I need some prayers and positive energy for a couple kittens. We got some sad test results so we're sending them out for further analysis. Please pray for lil' Perro & Gato (some Hispanic names for you Spanish speakers 😉)

"These dogs were both very good dogs. They have not been socialized in a very long time. They have been confined to a room or a cage for about seven months. Located in Bellville, Ohio.
Frankie (first pic) is a female she is fixed, she is four years old. She’s good with kids. She’s not good with other dogs or cats.
The 2nd pic is Asher a male not fixed. He is five years old. We believe he is good with kids. But not good with dogs or cats."

Paisley, Qantas and Lacy (Knox County Ohio Dog Shelter puppers) had a great afternoon at the Knox Public Library. The library hosted 'Dog Days of Summer' where teens made dog treats and tie dye bandanas for the dogs!!

Last week, us dog shelter volunteers, did our first Rainbow Bridge ceremony and added 2 collars to the bridge. Dauber, our beloved old man who died at the Knox shelter, and Star, a foster from Franklin County dog shelter who was euthanized because she just had too many issues. 😢 Thank you Khara for getting both dog their own collars and tags. 🥺

For the last couple weeks, an incredible group of volunteers have been trying to trap this cat family who was living behind a fast food resteraunt in a neighboring county. The kittens would play in the drive thru!! The volunteers have actually been sleeping in their cars to trap through the night!! Their persistence and dedication of these volunteers is awe-inspiring.
This weekend they got the last of the wild little babies, and now they are working on the mom who is too smart! I have all the babies. There are 5 total, (4 are girls) so I will slowly be getting them vetted. (Did I mention 95% of the kittens Ive got this year have been females?? 🤦‍♀️ Spay appts are harder to get so Im way delayed)

I need some fast food related names. It would be so much easier to name if they were boys (ie Arby, Mickey, Jack, Del, Jimboy, Jersey Mike, Jimmy John, etc). The only girl fast food name is Wendy.
