We are counting down the days until Find Waldo in Mount Vernon begins! This year Waldo will be hiding in 29 downtown locations.

You can find Waldo starting July 1. The event is month long and concludes on July 31st with a prize drawing.

Going on a summer adventure? You probably need a new Jellycat pal to take along with you.

Father’s Day is Sunday! We have cards, books and gifts ready at hand for the favorite guys in your life.

We are absolutely enchanted with Sarah Winman’s A Year of Marvelous Ways. A luminous story of friendship and we have plenty to share, grab yours and be charmed.

Also new in hardcover today Brandon Sanderson’s Songs of the Dead, Peter Hamilton’s Exodus from the Sea, and R. F. Kuang’s collectors edition of Babel. In Young Adult Melissa de la Cruz is releasing book one of her new duology - Kingdom of Waves. And for those middle grade readers a gorgeous new edition of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe with sprayed edges.

Out in paperback today What We Can Know by Ian McEwan, Hemlock and Silver by T. Kingfisher, and new romance - The Someday Garden by Ashley Poston.

Kristen Reads (known to many of you as Kristen Martin) grew up in Mount Vernon and will be back in town to sign copies of her new cozy romance Willowbrook Wishes.

(When you pick up a copy for your shelves, you may notice that the fictional town of Willowbrook has some serious Mount Vernon vibes!)
