"Best in Show" with his 1934 Chevy Coupe at our car show Saturday.
We planned on getting photos with ALL our winners, but they were FAST leaving! We got photos of most of them, but we are missing a few, and think it wouldn't be fair to post photos of some but not all.
So this message is
TO OUR WINNERS ...
if you would...please send us a photo of your car (with or without your trophy) thru messenger. Once we get a photo from all our winners, we will announce them with a photo of their rides.
Thanks again to everyone who came to the show, we hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did. We were so very pleased with the turnout!
(P.S. We are already making plans with some changes for next year's show... like more or bigger speakers!)

This is only a portion of the 173 Entries we had for our Car Show! I wish I had the time to shoot all of them but registration kept us hopping (A GOOD THING!) THANK YOU to everyone who brought their beautiful vehicles to share with the community. Your passion for your vehicles certainly shows.

Did we mention a parade? After the Car Show tomorrow take your ride in a parade thru Natural Chimneys Park. We do ask that those who plan to participate wait until all the awards are presented and then follow the golf cart to the park.
If you plan to watch the parade we suggest you park in the grassy area between the pool and the river.
It's gonna be a beautiful day for a car show, hope to see you there!

We hope you bring your appetite to the Car Show on Saturday. We have lots of yummy food to fill your cravings!

Did we mention trophies? We have trophies for the winners of our Car Show tomorrow, May 30th.

Hopefully you are getting as excited as we are about our Car Show Saturday May 30, 2026 from 10-2 at Mt. Solon Fire Rescue Station 21.
We hope to have a parking lot full of Cars, Trucks, Tractors and Motorcycles!
We will be selling lunch and have vendors set up in our activities building, and....
We will be selling raffle tickets, both for a 50/50 drawing and the items pictured below. Bring some cash ($$$) and maybe you will get LUCKY and win!

Mt. Solon Fire & Rescue's 2nd Car Show is just 2 days away! There will be something for everyone to see Saturday at our station. Come see all the beautiful vehicles, shop in the activities building where vendors will be selling their merchandise, grab some delicious food, take a chance on some great raffle prizes (wait till you see what we have) and more.

This photo was taken at our car show last year, we had over 120 entries and we were so VERY pleased since it was our 1st Show. Hopefully Mother Nature will be out of rain by this Saturday for our 2nd Show. The forecast looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, sunny and 75°, can't get any better for a Car Show! Our dream is to FILL UP this parking lot with beautiful cars, trucks, tractors & motorcycles!

We have some nice door prizes for those that enter the show. We are also having a 50/50 raffle, and a raffle for a $500.00 Stihl edger.

This year we opened the show up to vendors. They will be set up across the road at the activities building, for those that want to do some shopping. Stay tuned, we will announce the vendors that have signed up later this week.

For lunch we are serving Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, BBQ, Mac n Cheese, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, and for dessert...Ice Cream Sandwiches! So you shouldn't go away hungry.

Judging for the car show starts at 12, with trophies awarded promptly at 2. After the show there will be a parade thru Natural Chimneys Park.

Hope you come to our show and tell all your friends to come too... Saturday May 30th, from 10-2, at Mt. Solon Vol. Fire & Rescue.
