figuring out an arrangement in real time. The process is monotonous until it becomes a meditation. My brain and hands begin to agree in the middle of all this.

More love and music coming. Heading to the mountains with good friends the first week of November to record the debut Feign Kin album. I’ll keep y’all posted.

In just 5 weeks we are heading to the mountains to record the Feign Kin full length. Some of these songs are 5 years in the making and I think it’s finally time to harvest what we’ve been planting.

Playing in Richmond for the first time ever on 10/1!
(long overdue)
This is a FREE folk music showcase at the Hofheimer building. I’ll be joined by some other wonderful artists as well, but that’s a surprise for now.

Seattle Dump!!! 🚽
Came out here to help move her s**t from Denver back to Seattle. What a journey!
Had a week of solo-exploration around Seattle when we got back. Saw some really beautiful things, are a lot of salmon bagels, and drank too much coffee (as usual) Coming back to the southeast with a newfound appreciation for my home. If you call Norfolk (or Virginia) “the mid atlantic”, please shut up :)
