One of the things we love about Mission Possible is seeing people from across our different countries come together to serve. 🌍

This week, friends from are in Strupets, Bulgaria, working alongside our Bulgarian staff and the local community to help build a new church. 🇳🇱🇧🇬

They’ve brought willing hands, practical skills and plenty of energy! 🔨 Walls are going up, concrete is being poured and there has been no shortage of hard work.

But as you’ll see in their updates, something else is happening too. Children from the village keep showing up, local men have joined in to help, meals are being shared and new relationships are forming.

That’s one of the reasons these trips are so valuable. It’s not simply about coming to complete a project. It’s about serving alongside one another, encouraging the people who are there doing ministry every day, and becoming part of what God is already doing in that community.

We’re thankful for our friends from and for the many ways we get to serve together as one Mission Possible family. 🙌

As you follow their time in Bulgaria, maybe consider what it could look like for you to serve with Mission Possible too. You don’t have to be a builder — just willing to use what God has given you. ✈️

Meet Nate.

Nate is a husband to Ashley, dad of six, builder, maple syrup maker, Christmas tree farmer and snowplow driver. Most Sundays, you’ll also find his home open to anyone who wants to come around the table for dinner and good conversation.

Nate lives missionally.

That same heart has taken him to Bulgaria with Mission Possible, where he has built a retaining wall, delivered BabyBoxes to families, and used another of his gifts — teaching — to encourage and equip leaders in a growing Roma church.

Back home in New Hampshire, he’s an advocate for MP in his community and passionate about helping others discover how they can serve the Lord too.

This week, while preaching at Shiloh Community Church, Nate said:

“When you get a taste of missional life, why would you live any other way?”

And maybe that’s the point. Serving God isn’t only about getting on a plane. It’s about saying yes with the gifts, skills, home, work and opportunities He has already given you.

As Nate reminded us:

“You can be salt and light everywhere.”

Maybe God has given you something you could use too.

If you’ve ever wondered what serving with MP could look like for you, we’d love to have a conversation. Send us a message — sometimes it simply starts with asking the question.

Yesterday morning, this was the view as I arrived at Shiloh Community Church. 🌈

A rainbow over the church — a beautiful reminder of God’s promises and His faithfulness. And it felt especially fitting for the day ahead.

Shiloh and Mission Possible have walked together for a lot of years. These aren’t just supporters of the ministry — they are trusted friends. People who have prayed, given, gone, served, encouraged and built relationships with our teams. They know our people, and our people know them.

Yesterday I got to share a little of what God is doing through Mission Possible today, but I also got to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, spend time with Pastor Greg and Meg, and answer some pretty great questions from the kids about missions.

And I loved getting to share the morning with my friend Nate, who preached yesterday and has his own history with Mission Possible and Bulgaria. More on Nate later — because there’s another story there worth telling!

Days like yesterday remind me that ministry isn’t built on one visit, one gift or one trip. It’s built on relationships. People walking together, serving together and trusting God with what He will do through it.

That rainbow as I arrived felt like such a fitting reminder: through all the years and all the different seasons, God has been faithful.

So thankful for Shiloh Community Church and for friends who continue to walk alongside Mission Possible. ❤️🌈

First New Hampshire partner catch-up — Valerie! 🫖

Valerie and I first met many years ago in Bulgaria when she came to serve with Mission Possible, and she’s been back several times since.

But Valerie’s partnership with MP goes far beyond getting on a plane. She’s always willing to lend a hand, share a great idea, or be on the other end of the phone when we have a question. With years of nonprofit experience, she even helped MPUSA find the donor database system we use today!

God can use the skills and experience He’s already given us in so many different ways.

Plus, she’s just a really cool person to know and grab a cup of tea with! 🫖❤️

Thanks, Valerie!

New Hampshire bound! ✈️

And if you don’t know me, I’m Addie, and I serve with Mission Possible USA. I’m heading to Manchester, New Hampshire, for the next few days to spend time with some of our MP partners and friends.

I’ll be sharing what’s happening across Mission Possible, talking about what’s ahead, and spending time with people who have faithfully been part of this ministry over the years.

Partnership with MP has never looked just one way. It’s people praying, giving, going, sharing their skills, encouraging our teams, and faithfully walking alongside the ministry.

Over the next few days, I hope you’ll enjoy meeting some of these people too. Maybe you’ll recognize a little of yourself in their stories — or discover a way you could use what God has given you to be part of what He’s doing through Mission Possible.

For me, the next few days mean good conversations, old friends, new friends, church tomorrow… and probably quite a few cups of tea along the way! 🫖

Follow along, pray for the conversations and connections ahead, and maybe even consider what partnership with Mission Possible could look like for you.

See you soon, New Hampshire!

🎉 We’re celebrating in Omsk! 🎉

The new Mission Possible Mother and Children’s Home is officially OPEN! ❤️

After so much planning, work and prayer, it is SO exciting to finally see this home finished and ready to welcome mothers and their children.

Bert and a friend take us on a little tour so you can see inside and celebrate with us!

There is so much more I want to share with you about this home, why it’s needed and the ministry that will happen here. You’ll be seeing much more from Omsk in our upcoming newsletters and blogs.

But for today — celebrate with us! 🎉 And please pray for the mothers and children who will walk through these doors. Pray that this will be a place of safety, hope, new beginnings and, most importantly, a place where they experience the love of Christ. ❤️🙏

This is just the beginning!

Another update from Bert’s travels in Russia! 🇷🇺

I love this one because it shows a side of Mission Possible that you may not always get to see.

Local leaders are training other MP leaders to write grant proposals and seek funding for projects within their own communities. We believe strongly in education and not only helping fund ministry, but equipping our teams with the tools they need to strengthen and sustain ministry locally.

Ephesians 4:12 — “to equip his people for works of service” — is at the heart of Mission Possible. We want to come alongside our teams, give them the tools they need and see strong local ministry continue to grow.

And to our friends and donors here in the USA—you are part of this bigger picture! Your partnership helps make this kind of training and investment in our leaders possible. Thank you for continuing to invest with us in people, not just projects. ❤️

Take a look at Bert’s latest update, and please pray for Bert and for these leaders as they learn from one another, grow in their skills and continue serving their communities for Christ.

Bert’s next stop on his journey through Russia takes us to Kurgan, where something exciting is taking shape!

A new home for mothers and children is under construction and expected to open next year.

In this region, poverty, unstable homes and other difficult circumstances can leave mothers with very few options when a crisis hits. Without somewhere safe to turn, families can be at risk of being separated.

That’s where Mission Possible can step in—providing a safe place where mothers can stay with their children while receiving practical support, encouragement, and the opportunity to experience the love and hope of Jesus. ❤️

Take a look as Bert gives us a glimpse of the construction and shares what’s ahead in Kurgan!

🙏 Please pray for the mothers and children who will one day walk through these doors, and for the Mission Possible team as they prepare for ministry in this new city.

Follow along as we continue Bert’s journey through Russia, and share this video to help others see what God is doing through Mission Possible!
