as i prep for our [socially distanced!] holiday pop-ups and collaborations, i’ve had hours upon hours of pour time. i know my fellow makers hear me 😂

a few months ago a friend [a defendress, which also happens to be her preferred LP scent 👍🏻] told me that one of her favorite things to do is take a hot shower.
at first i laughed - it’s so... normal. but then i thought about it a little more. it’s time where there are no expectations, no task lists - just you, lotions & potions, maybe some music, and hot water giving you a pseudo massage. she was right. self-care can include reveling in the awesome luxury that is a hot shower.
