What a day! The ocean was like a lake! Got to stretch the Sportsman’s legs and she didn’t let us down! Came home with plenty of table fare, good vibes, great memories!

Holy crap it was cold! Water was no warmer than 47 on the flats...clear water sight fishing is the best and my most favorite type of fishing to do. Stuck two and missed a third pulling the hook boatside...didn’t see as many dead fish as I expected so hopefully that’s a good thing! @ Charleston, South Carolina

I fully support this! Gnarly Goat Charters will be fully catch and release until further notice! I hope our Charleston fishing community, and the south east as a whole will adopt the same practice!
Attention fishermen: South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will soon begin a campaign to encourage the release of all Spotted Seatrout. This is due to the extreme temperatures we have experienced recently and the stress this fishery has undergone as a result. It is important to take preventative measures now to ensure the protection of what's left of the breeding population. In partnership with this campaign, I'd like to ask that you to let them live. An 11 inch trout can produce 3 million eggs a year and an 18 inch trout can produce as many as 17 million eggs a year. Help this fishery recover and let these fish spawn. This voluntary effort is a way to engage fishermen in a hands-on approach to conservation. Join us in saving this fish and help us avoid statutory closure of this fishery. Thank you for your consideration.

Hell of a bite out there folks! Constant action all day on live bait, same with artificials. It didn’t matter they were hungry. Multiple double hookups on redfish, trout, and black drum! The most wonderful time of the year!!!

Clients from New England had a gorgeous day today! Jennifer from NYC got this nice sheep on a shrimp the size of a small trout rigged on the bottom! First cast ever, first fish ever, 🎣💥🍾

One and done! I tossed over 90% of these guys back - only keep what you need! The guy at the end appreciates our conservation efforts! 😜🎣🐟

I spent this Sunday at Capers Island with my brother in law, his wife, and my boys. We weren't fishing hard but did soak a fresh caught whiting which must've been a good lunch for this beaut of a red! He swam off healthy and strong and we reported his tag to DNR!
