Well you really can’t make this up. I’ve already had a hard year with Achilles surgery in Feb, I was just 3 weeks out of the boot, and unfortunately had a total retear of the Achilles while doing some yard work last Thursday(just got MRI results back yesterday). I am set to undergo surgery again on July 1st, so will be out of commission til September. I am going to finish out my remaining charters for this month, as I have been doing this whole week, but if I have anything scheduled with you in July or August…. I’ll be touching base with you ASAP. With that being said…. I still have some open dates between June 19th-30th I’d like to fill, so if you’d like to get out on the water….. gimme a shout!!! For those I have to cancel on… I’m sorry, but not much I can do at this point. I’ll be back in Sept hopefully stronger than ever, it’s just so disappointing after the strides I had made the past 4 months with my PT, etc. It sucks because it affects a lot more people than just me. A slow, painful, and tough recovery.

Some pretty good fishing and weather the past few weeks in Charleston. Looking like it’s starting to heat up for the Summer!

I haven’t had a real solid day trolling in a while until today. Had no bites till 11 oclock and did some work for a great box. Had 7 or 8 nice mahi mahi and 2 wahoos!

First true day back on the platform this year since my Achilles surgery!

Well, I haven’t made any fishing reports in a while because I haven’t been much since January. Ruptured my Achilles and had surgery in early February so it’s been almost 8 weeks since I’ve been able to walk much less fish. It’s a long, tedious recovery and I’m starting to get out a little bit, but probably will not be back to somewhat normal til Mid May. Anyways I did go offshore a few days ago and ran into a feeding frenzy with some sharks and AJs on a bait ball. Seen this with cobia before, but only a couple times. Looking forward to getting back to normal and back to fishing in a couple months.

Yesterday we had one bite that we were looking for. Everything else we got a bite from got mauled by cudas…. Never seen it that bad.

No wahoos today….. blackfin isn’t bad though. Cold water moved in overnight … went from 73 to 67.
