Temenos is the graduate student writing publication at Central Michigan University.
“Temenos” is a Greek word that refers to a sacred space where people can be themselves without fear. Temenos magazine publishes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and art by new and established writers and artists. The magazine has no philosophical or aesthetic allegiances, but instead tries to recognized excellence in all of its forms. Temenos was established in 2000 and is run by graduate students of

proofs came back today, tomorrow I’ll email McNaughton & Gunn to give them the go-ahead. This feels like crossing the finish line to a race that was longer and more exhausting than I could’ve ever guessed. This is the part where I’m lying in the grass, heaving and in disbelief at my (meager?) achievement, after finishing with a very poor time, but, you know, still a PR. (In other words: Thanks ineffably for your continued patience).
