"President Joe Biden said on Friday that the United States has secured millions of doses of Pfizer Inc's experimental antiviral pill for COVID-19 in case it turns out to be an effective treatment. 'If authorized by the FDA we may soon have pills that treat the virus in those who become infected," Biden said. "We've already secured millions of doses. The therapy would be another tool in our toolbox to protect people from the worst outcomes of COVID.' "

Have we long-term memory loss? (I mean no offense to Mr. President) but back during the Bush Jr. administration the Government spent $1.5Billion to stockpile Roche's Tamiflu medication for a potential Flu Pandemic. However, Roche's own research studies show that this drug does not work. So the UK epidemiologist and Cochrane Collaboration researcher Dr. Tom Jefferson who did all the data review and is a virus and Flu and Flu-drug/vaccine expert published this in the BMJ and is filing a class action lawsuit against Roche Pharmaceuticals for defrauding the US Federal Government.

We may be seeing a repeat of what happened years ago with an unproven COVID drug (by Pfizer this time) which is what happened with Tamiflu (Roche). Boy how much can the US Taxpayer take?
